Sleep rough so others don’t have to

SleepEasy is a national YMCA event that highlights awareness of homelessness whilst raising funds for local YMCA services. Historically our annual event has taken place in Bedford but thanks to the kind sponsorship of The Mall we are able to bring this event to Luton for the first time.

Thanks to The Mall in Luton we have the opportunity to provide a safe venue to offer up to 250 people the opportunity to spend the night learning about roughsleeping whilst sleeping out in the Mall car park to raise funds for our much needed services.

The evening will kick off at 7pm and run through till 7am on the Saturday morning. We will provide activities that opens up the topic of homelessness, have opportunity to ask question to those who have experience homelessness and those who work in the sector, quizzes, competitions and all sorts of bits and pieces. Lights out will be approx. midnight and we will end the event with a hot breakfast around 6:30 for folks to leave at approx. 7am.

We are aiming to sign up families, individuals and company teams to take part, but this is where we need your help.
