• Be aware of sales contract/purchase order details and requirements of a Commercial Invoice
• Be aware of Incoterms; who pays for freight and who takes the risk
• Consider packing marking and labelling requirements, including the new UKCA.
• Have an awareness of compliance issues around exporting
• Understand the UK trade tariff and who is responsible for commodity codes at export
• Consider the different Customs Procedure Codes at export
• Be aware of Export Control Licences, Sanctions and embargoes
• Overview on UK Trade Agreements and Preference Documents
• Dealing with Customs Intermediaries / Freight Agents / Express Fast Parcel Operators
• The importance of adequate Proof of export

From the ease of your chair learn how to be successful with your international transactions. These virtual half day training courses will provide you with the ability to take the BCC International Trade Assessment. A certificate will be awarded for each pass. Achieve a total of 6 passes and you will earn an International Foundation in Trade award.
