Mental Health First Aid Champion – One Day
Date & Time: 08/04/2019 9:15 am - 4:30 pm | Location: University of Bedfordshire
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) One Day course qualifies learners as a MHFA Champion.
The course is accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course which teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health allowing them to understand when someone may be developing or struggling with a mental health issue.
MHFA won’t teach you to be a therapist, but just like physical first aid, it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis.
The sessions will be a mix of presentation, group discussions, and group work activities. Our instructors provide a very safe learning environment and are trained to support you throughout the whole course. You’ll receive an MHFA Standard manual that you can take away with you at the end of the course and also an attendance certificate from MHFA England to say you are now a MHFA Champion.
More public courses coming soon, and in-house group training is also available.
Cost £150 per person
