George Hay Chartered Accountants – Making Tax Digital Seminar
Making Tax Digital (MTD) is part of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) strategy to modernise the UK tax system.
From April 2019, most businesses and landlords, whose turnover exceeds £85,000, will be required to keep digital records and make quarterly submissions to HMRC, for VAT purposes only.
We want to see the businesses we work alongside continue to thrive following the move to MTD and we are already helping many of our clients to look at it as an opportunity, not something to oppose.
That’s why we’re inviting you to this free event, designed to give you a better understanding of MTD, what’s expected of you and what you can do to ensure you’re ready to comply.
Seminar to run as follows:
6.00pm – Registration with Tea/Coffee and a light buffet
6.30pm – Chairman’s introduction
6.35pm – Presentation by Partners, Phil Blackburn and Toni Hunter
7.35pm – Q&A session followed by an opportunity to speak with our experts
8.00pm – Close
